More Than Basketball Training

Founded by NCAA Division I athletes, Mojo Elite combines championship-level basketball training with academic excellence and life skills development. We don't just develop players - we develop leaders, scholars, and community contributors.

Our unique approach integrates sports training with STEM education, creating well-rounded athletes prepared for success in any arena. With personalized coaching, small group training, and individual development plans, every athlete receives the attention they need to excel.

More than a training program, Mojo Elite is a community where young athletes learn to work hard, think critically, and give back, all while building the confidence and character that will serve them long after they leave the court.

Meet Coach MJ (Moulayna Johnson Sidi Baba), whose basketball journey spans from professional overseas leagues to representing Sweden's National Team on the international stage. At the University of Miami, she helped propel the team to multiple March Madness appearances, including an Elite 8 run. Her impact continued at UC Irvine, where she led the team to their first conference championship and March Madness appearance in decades while earning 2023-24 Big West Newcomer of the Year and All-Tournament Team honors.

Now pursuing her PhD in addition to her master's degree in software engineering, MJ brings both elite athletic experience and academic excellence to her coaching. Her unique combination of international competition experience, championship-level play, and analytical mindset creates a comprehensive approach to player development that extends far beyond basketball fundamentals.

Meet Coach Hunter Hernandez, whose journey exemplifies the resilience and determination she instills in every player she coaches. Over four years at UC Irvine, Hunter earned First Team All-Big West honors, was named Big West Player of the Week twice, and helped lead the team to conference championships.

Hunter's path wasn't without obstacles; she overcame two ACL surgeries during her career, experiences that taught her invaluable lessons about mental toughness, adaptability, and perseverance. These challenges shaped her coaching philosophy: every setback is an opportunity to grow stronger. Currently pursuing her MBA while coaching, Hunter brings both elite athletic experience and business acumen to player development.

Her coaching focuses on building complete athletes who possess not just technical skills, but the confidence, resilience, and work ethic needed to excel in any arena. Hunter's story proves that with dedication and the right mentorship, young athletes can overcome any challenge and achieve their goals.
